Our Philosophy

It doesn't have to be difficult, time-consuming or expensive to participate in a Christmas shoebox scheme. We make it easy, fun and inexpensive for you to help a child in desperate need at Christmas. For many children, your shoebox will be the only Christmas gift they receive this year. Hence our tagline:

About Us

Shoebox Express® began as a small, not-for-profit initiative over a decade ago. We exist to remove barriers to participation in Christmas Shoebox schemes. We are located in Merseyside but our support base is spreading!

We are now a charity (number 1176464) registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales.

Welcome & Thanks

Did you make it to our Formby Bazaar on 14th October? If so, well done and thank you! A total of 556 Christmas shoeboxes were made on the day. Thank you to our amazing local community for the support.

We are gearing up for our second 2023 Bazaar on Saturday 28th October (noon - 4pm). We would love to see you at Netherton Baptist Church, but if you can't join us we are also happy to accept donations through the fundraising platform Wonderful.co.uk!  Just so you know, £7.50 will fill a shoebox and deliver it into the hands of a child in Ukraine, but we are happy to accept donations of any size, large or small. Please contact us for full information on donations and Gift Aid (see right).
