Our Philosophy

It doesn't have to be difficult, time-consuming or expensive to participate in a Christmas shoebox scheme. We make it easy, fun and inexpensive for you to help a child in desperate need at Christmas. For many children, your shoebox will be the only Christmas gift they receive this year. Hence our tagline:

About Us

Shoebox Express® began as a small, not-for-profit initiative over a decade ago. We exist to remove barriers to participation in Christmas Shoebox schemes. We are located in Merseyside but our support base is spreading!

We are now a charity (number 1176464) registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales.

Welcome & Thanks

Did you make it to our Bazaar in October? If so, well done and thank you! A total of 1150 Christmas shoeboxes were made across 2024 and shipped to children in Ukraine. Thank you to our amazing local community for the support.

We are having a bit of a rest before gearing up for 2025 and would love to hear from you. Our 2025 Grand Bazaar will take place in October, date and time to be advised, at Formby Methodist Church Hall. We hope to see you there!

We are also happy to accept donations through the fundraising platform Wonderful.co.uk!  Just so you know, around £8 will fill a shoebox and deliver it into the hands of a child in Ukraine, but we are happy to accept donations of any size, large or small. Please contact us for full information on donations and Gift Aid (see right).
